Assertive to Exclamatory
Assertive sentence সাধারণভাবে কথা বলা বুঝায় (e.g., "He is a good boy.") আর Exclamatory sentence দিয়ে স্বাভাবিকভাবে মনের আবেগ প্রকাশ করা বুঝায় যেমন, joy, sorrow, surprise, or wish (e.g., "How beautiful the flower is!").

Assertive to Exclamatory করার সময় মনে রাখতে হবে যে exclamatory দিয়ে অনেক emotion বা আবেগ প্রকাশ পায়। The words "very," "great," or "extremely" সাধারণত আমরা exclamatory তে বাদ দেই কারণ Exclamatory sentence দিয়ে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই আবেগ প্রকাশ করে।
1. Using 'What a' or 'What an'

Assertive Sentence এ adjective এর আগে article 'a' or 'an' (often followed by the word 'very' or 'great'), you must start your exclamatory sentence with "What a" or "What an".

Rule: What a / What an + Adjective + Noun + Subject + Verb + ! (Note: 'very' or 'great' আমরা exclamatory sentence এ দিবো না)
Examples:

Assertive: It is a very beautiful bird.

Exclamatory: What a beautiful bird it is!

Assertive: He is a very good player.

Exclamatory: What a good player he is!

Assertive: It was a great mistake.

Exclamatory: What a mistake it was! (or: What a great mistake it was!)

Assertive: She is a very sweet girl.

Exclamatory: What a sweet girl she is!

Assertive: This is an extremely interesting book.

Exclamatory: What an interesting book this is!
2. Using 'How'

Assertive Sentence এ adjective এর আগে article 'a' or 'an' যদি না থাকে, তবে exclamatory sentence শুরু করতে হবে "How" দিয়ে।

Rule: How + Adjective / Adverb + Subject + Verb + ! (Note: 'very' or 'great' আমরা exclamatory sentence এ দিবো না)
Examples:

Exclamatory: How charming the scenery is!

Assertive: The man is very honest.

Assertive: The girl sings very sweetly.

Assertive: The weather is very hot today.

Exclamatory: How hot the weather is today!

Assertive: Time flies very fast.

Exclamatory: How fast time flies!
3. Sentences Starting with 'I wish' (Using 'If' or 'Would that')

Assertive Sentence এ যদি deep, unreal wish (e.g., "I wish I were...") এভাবে থাকে, “I wish..” এর বদলে "If" অথবা "Would that" দিয়ে sentence শুরু করতে হবে।

Rule: 'I wish' → 'If' / 'Would that' + Rest of the sentence + !
Examples:

Assertive: I wish I were a bird.

Exclamatory: If I were a bird! (Or: Would that I were a bird!)

Assertive: I wish I could fly in the sky.

Exclamatory: If I could fly in the sky! (Or, Would that I could fly in the sky!)
