Subject: Application for immediate relief and medical aids for the flood-affected people of Pahartoli Village.

Dear Sir,
With due respect, I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Pahartoli Village under your Upazila, would like to draw your urgent attention to the catastrophic recent floods in our area.
The sudden and continuous heavy rainfall has caused the local rivers to overflow and floods. Hundreds of families have lost their homes. Villagers have taken shelter on high grounds, school roofs, and embankments, but some are living under the open sky.
The situation is rapidly worsening. We are facing a severe crisis of pure drinking water and basic food supplies. Due to the contaminated water, waterborne diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, and dysentery have already started to break out among the sheltered people. We fear a massive loss of life due to starvation and disease due to the flood.
Therefore, I earnestly request and hope that you would be kind enough to take immediate steps to send relief goods—such as dry food, pure drinking water, clothing, and temporary shelters—along with emergency medical teams to Pahartoli Village to save the lives of the affected people and oblige thereby.
