It was a very hot summer day. The sun was shining brightly in the sky. There was no cloud anywhere. The heat was unbearable. All the ponds, rivers, and small water holes had dried up. The earth was cracked and dry. All the birds and animals were suffering from terrible thirst. They were looking for water everywhere, but they could not find a single drop.
