Between a Doctor and a Patient
English 1st Paper Curriculum Faculty
A dialogue between a doctor and a patient.
Patient (Mr. Hasan): May I come in, Doctor?
Doctor (Dr. Ahmed): Yes, please come in. Have a seat. What seems to be the problem today?
Patient: Thank you, Doctor. I have not been feeling well for the past three weeks. I have a fever that just won't go away completely.
Doctor: Three weeks is quite a long time to have a fever. Does the temperature stay high all day, or does it go up and down?
Patient: It usually goes down in the morning, but by the late afternoon and evening, my body gets very warm. I also feel extremely weak and tired all the time.
Doctor: I see. Do you have any other symptoms along with the fever? Any coughing, sore throat, body aches, or a burning sensation when you urinate?
