The Selfish Giant

Once there was a Giant who had a large and beautiful garden. There were soft green grass, colorful flowers, and many fruit trees. Every afternoon, children used to come and play in the garden. They were very happy there.
One day, the Giant returned home after a long time. When he saw the children playing in his garden, he became very angry. He shouted, “This is my garden! You must not play here.” Then he built a high wall around the garden and put up a notice: “No entry.”
After that, the children had no
